It all started out when Nick wanted to get a pair of sneakers for the new year.So, we went sneakers hunting.We went to 1 Utama, Megamall, Sungei Wang, Timessquare & Pavillion. GOSH! we practically went to almost all the big malls in K.L. cuz u know when u have fetish for something u'd do anything & go anywhere jsut to get it? in this case Nicks fetish is for shoes *mine also la* but at that that time i wasnt looking forward for any sneakers yet. So, for the 1st 2 days Nick was on his frenzy for sneakers going to 2 - 3 malls in 1 day and ACTUALLY waking up kinda early JUST to find sneakers *ceh never see he wake up early for me * and sleeping FREAKING late just stuffing his face to the computer screen browsing for shoes.
THEN!when he was browsing through millions of website about limited ed & rare sneakers, 1 particular pair of sneakers caught my attention, the NIKE DUNK LOW PRO SB GUNS & ROSES APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION!
Okay...okay... i know it looks soo boyish and all, but just look at the colour combination, purple,red,yellow,orange & black...imagine the colour of a beautiful sunset,ahhh...serene.Anyways! this sneakers is freaking awesome and hot that the moment i saw it i kinda wanted it but never said it*never had the thought of getting a sneakers yet*.Moreover, Nick was the one hunting for shoes so i told him it was nice and that he should totally get it.
Immedietely the next day we went sneaker hunting again. We went time sqaure cuz the have 4 - 5 shops that carry these rare shoes. Round * round we went and atlast!after almost loosing hope we found the very secluded shops at level 6 -7 and the first shoes i saw was the NIKE SB DUNK GUNS AND ROSES. i tihnk i practically scream and pointed at it * gosh..the 2 shopkeeper must have jerked because of me* and when nick picked it up its like i couldnt believe that they have the shoe!so i was like : b, get it, get it,get it.its sooo freaking niceeeeee!!! but the price was around rm350 above if im not mistaken.*as that wasnt the shoe he was aiming for,he wasnt that intrested* so we browsed at the few other sneakers and went on to sungei wang.
Guess what? We went in a Sungei Wang authorized dealer for NIKE and and and and he was selling the Guns & roses shoes for rm 199!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!so FUCKING cheap *apparently,he doesnt wanna carry nike shoes cuz according to him,nike tak laku* so! to my luck, they only had size 8 1/2 and nick cannot fit,then i say:haih if only have smaller size lar.Then the guy said got wor!size 7*my mind was jumping up and down lor!i tried and it was a lil bit big and boyish but who cares!im soooooooo getiing it today =)
The story continues.
I think nick was kinda dissapointed.But!the guy told him u can check out Mid vally the Gardens cuz they carry a few terminators* u can actually see the glit in his eyes..haha the glimp of hope!* we flew there andddddddd *drums rolling* after all nicks dissapointments,he spotted 2 shoes that he wants The Puma Clyde Limited Edition Poison pack 3 *green* & the Nike Terminator ENG boot.
Nick was soo hype about the shoes that he went into the shop around 3 - 4 times *i tihnk the shop keeper must have felt that we were some kinda wierdos *He was sooo undecisive on which to choose that his disease came to me. both of us were actualy debating which shoes to choose and we took some desperate measures to decide by flipping a coin,consulting my dogs to look left or right for puma or nike,drawing lots anf seeing which brand & shoe has mroe benefit.In the end he chose puma over nike cuz got more loves.Phew!oh well thank god he chose ady.now its about the money *swt*
